Who I Work With

Patients Who Have Already
Tried Everything Else

Most people who come to me have a stack of labs, a list of specialists they’ve seen, and a diagnosis that either took years to get — or still hasn’t come. They don’t need more guesswork. They need someone who looks at the full picture.

My clinical work centers on the relationship between gut health, immune function, and hormonal balance — particularly thyroid and adrenal. These systems don’t operate in isolation. When they’re addressed together, patterns that seemed unsolvable often become clear.

“I went to the hospital for five days, then to a rheumatologist, urologist, neurologist. Nobody could figure it out. After one visit with Dr. Seubert, we had answers.”

Root Cause Care.
Not Symptom Management.

Every plan begins with a full picture — your labs, your history, your symptoms and how they connect. Nothing is treated in isolation.

01
New Patient Consultation
Start Here
A full 60–90 minute intake — your health history, existing labs, symptoms, and goals covered without a clock on the wall. Patients consistently say they’ve never been listened to this thoroughly by any doctor.
02
Lyme Disease & Chronic Infection Treatment
ILADS-trained protocols for chronic Lyme, co-infections, and tick-borne illness. Botanical and clinical naturopathic approaches for patients who are still suffering after standard antibiotic treatment — including those whose Lyme was dismissed or minimized.
03
Digestive & GI Disorder Care
GastroANP-affiliated specialist in IBS, ulcerative colitis, SIBO, acid reflux, and diverticulitis. Patients who spent decades seeing gastroenterologists and being medicated for symptoms — rather than causes — regularly find answers here.
04
Autoimmune Condition Support
Individualized care for Sjogren’s, Hashimoto’s, lupus, and other autoimmune conditions. The focus is on underlying triggers, the gut-immune relationship, and reducing the systemic inflammation driving symptoms.
05
Thyroid & Hormonal Health
Natural support for subclinical and diagnosed thyroid dysfunction, perimenopause, and hormonal imbalance. Lab interpretation that moves beyond TSH — identifying patterns that standard panels routinely miss.
06
Adrenal & Stress-Related Health
Natural treatment for cortisol imbalance, adrenal fatigue, burnout, and stress-driven hormonal disruption — including PTSD presentations where the physical and psychological are deeply intertwined.
07
Advanced Lab Analysis
In-depth interpretation of bloodwork that goes well beyond standard reference ranges. Multiple patients have received their first correct diagnosis after a single consultation that involved reviewing labs no one had properly interpreted before.
08
Nutritional & Supplement Protocols
Science-informed, individualized plans built around your labs, health history, and goals. Every supplement recommendation has a clinical rationale — not a general wellness checklist.
09
Telehealth — Nationwide
Secure virtual appointments for new and returning patients across the country. Full naturopathic care including lab review, protocol management, and follow-ups — from wherever you are.

About Dr. Seubert

The Doctor Behind
the Difference

01

He’s Been the Patient

Dr. Seubert developed health issues of his own that conventional medicine couldn’t resolve. He found answers through naturopathic care. That firsthand experience shapes everything about how he listens, tests, and treats.

02

Specialized Where It Counts

ILADS clinical training for Lyme and tick-borne illness. GastroANP membership for digestive disorders. These are earned qualifications in areas where most practitioners offer only surface-level care.

03

He Stays Involved

Patients have received calls from Dr. Seubert on weekends when he found something important in their case. He tracks. He follows up. He doesn’t hand you a protocol and send you home.

04

His Goal Is to Need You Less

He’s not managing you indefinitely. Patients routinely reduce or come off prescription medications as root causes are found and addressed. The endpoint is independence, not dependency.

Credentials & Background

A Decade in Practice.
Firsthand Understanding of Being Unheard.

Dr. Mychael Seubert earned his Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine and Health Sciences and has been in clinical practice for over ten years. He holds membership in the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians, the Naturopathic Gastroenterological Association, and the New York Association of Naturopathic Physicians, and has completed advanced clinical training in Lyme and tick-borne illness through ILADS.

His path into naturopathic medicine was personal. When he developed health issues of his own that conventional medicine couldn’t resolve, he sought naturopathic care. That experience shaped how he practices: with the specific understanding of what it means to go through the system, get nowhere, and finally find someone who takes the time to listen.

His clinical focus centers on the interconnection between gut health, immune function, and hormonal balance — particularly thyroid and adrenal health. Digestive disorders, autoimmune conditions, Lyme disease, and complex chronic illness are the core of his work. Most of his patients have tried conventional approaches first. That’s the point.

New York State does not currently license naturopathic doctors. Dr. Seubert holds active naturopathic physician licenses in Arizona and Connecticut, and is a member of the New York Association of Naturopathic Physicians (NYANP), which requires members to hold licensure in at least one licensing state. He practices on Long Island in accordance with New York State law.
Dr. Seubert's core specializations are Lyme disease and tick-borne illness (ILADS-trained), digestive and gastrointestinal disorders including IBS, SIBO, ulcerative colitis, and acid reflux (GastroANP-affiliated), autoimmune conditions such as Hashimoto's and Sjogren's syndrome, thyroid and adrenal dysfunction, hormonal imbalance and perimenopause, and complex chronic illness where conventional medicine has not provided answers.
A naturopathic doctor (ND) completes a four-year doctoral program in naturopathic medicine covering similar sciences as medical school — anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, pathology — alongside specialized training in clinical nutrition, botanical medicine, homeopathy, and lifestyle medicine. The primary difference is the approach: naturopathic medicine focuses on identifying and treating root causes of illness rather than managing symptoms, and uses natural, minimally invasive therapies whenever possible.
No referral is needed. New patients can book directly through the scheduling link on this page or by calling (631) 722-2246. Dr. Seubert works alongside your existing medical team — he does not require you to stop conventional care to work with him.
Yes. Telehealth appointments are available for new and returning patients anywhere in the United States. Virtual visits include full naturopathic consultations, lab review, supplement and nutrition protocol management, and follow-up appointments. The same quality of care — just without the commute.
A new patient consultation is typically 60 to 90 minutes. Dr. Seubert will review your full health history, current symptoms, existing lab work, medications, supplements, diet, and lifestyle. Unlike a conventional appointment, you will not be rushed. The goal of the first visit is to understand the full picture — not to hand you a prescription and move on.
Yes — and this is common. Many of Dr. Seubert's patients continue working with their primary care physician, rheumatologist, gastroenterologist, or other specialists while also seeing him. He operates as a complementary layer of care, focused on root causes and natural therapies that support rather than conflict with conventional treatment.
Dr. Seubert sees patients in Riverhead, Huntington, and Garden City on Long Island, NY. The Riverhead office is located at the Naturopathic Wellness Center of Long Island. Telehealth is available for patients who prefer virtual care or are located outside of Long Island.
ILADS is the International Lyme and Associated Diseases Society — an organization of physicians and researchers focused on evidence-based diagnosis and treatment of Lyme and tick-borne diseases. ILADS-trained doctors are specifically educated in the complexities of chronic Lyme, co-infections, and cases where standard testing has missed or minimized the diagnosis. For Lyme patients on Long Island, this training is clinically significant.
This is one of the most common situations Dr. Seubert sees. Standard lab panels use broad reference ranges and often miss subclinical imbalances in thyroid function, adrenal output, nutrient status, gut health markers, and inflammatory signals. In-depth lab interpretation — looking beyond whether values are 'in range' to whether they are optimal — frequently reveals patterns that explain persistent symptoms. Many patients receive their first clear explanation after a single consultation.
